Gregory A. Thomas is a Dallas-born author, publisher, and civic leader whose life spans politics, ministry, and enterprise. A two-term town councilman and the youngest, firstand onlyAfrican American mayor of Heath, Texas, Thomas has served as Executive Pastor of Gateway Church and now leads several business ventures across beauty, publishing, tech, and investment sectors.

He is the author of The Mayor series and Investing for Beginners: Diversifying is a Must, and the co-creator of The Journey, a 16-week curriculum for personal development and reentry success. With advanced degrees in political science, marketing, economics, theology, and business from institutions including The University of Texas, The King's University, Southern Methodist University, and The Wharton School, Thomas is a thought leader blending purpose and power.

In addition to his extensive work in financial literacy, Thomas is currently an adjunct professor of economics at Adam's State University in their Prison Education Program.
