Judith Rivera Rosso is a person who some people might call a health nut, meaning that she pays attention to the overall quality of her health and the quality of her food. When she became a vegetarian many years ago, it was not so much, at that time, for health reasons as it was because of her love for animals. She prefers organic food. She has lived in Italy for the past thirty years; during most of those years, she owned and managed a large organic farm with her husband. Judith says that moving back to the States and doing research for Junk Food Suicide has been an incredible eye-opener. "I honestly did not know", she says, "that our American food supply was so dangerous!" Before moving to Italy, she produced documentaries for Public Television and, later, Public Radio, using her investigative skills to present the often-hidden truths behind public policy issues. Afterwards, she ventured out as a freelance scriptwriter. As you have read in Junk Food Suicide, Judith believes there is hope on the horizon. In these pages, she shows us how to easily pay attention, without feeling stressed, to a new and health-giving world of food and drink choices. She invites us to enjoy the process of learning which products to avoid and which products to embrace as natural ways to sustain health. Now that she has completed Junk Food Suicide, she is returning to her main work as a Certified Master Energy Coach and Teacher using the revolutionary healing methods of EFT Tapping / Emotional Freedom Techniques and Reiki to help restore health to people, animals, living spaces, and work environments. "During the past thirty years", Judith says, "I have had the great opportunity of helping clients and students heal from all kinds of challenges, including serious diseases. I know, along with modern science, that it is sometimes the healing of emotional traumas of our past, often from childhood, and sometimes forgotten from our conscious mind, which can cause and/or contribute to illness. When we also clean up the chemical food, drink, and environmental toxins in our lives, along with the emotional ones, real healing has a chance to happen." In her spare time, Judith loves making sculptures and learning to make paintings and is grateful for the joys and wonders of living and working in a North Carolina woods alongside her husband, Adriano Rosso, also a Certified Reiki Master and Teacher.
