Surviving seventh grade requires fearless determination and shatterproof friendships.
I must be the only seventh-grade girl excited to return to school after the long winter break, but it's only because my amazing boyfriend makes school better than Disneyland. Surviving seventh grade requires fearless determination and shatterproof friendships.

I must be the only seventh-grade girl excited to return to school after the long winter break, but it's only because my amazing boyfriend makes school better than Disneyland. I can't wait to walk through the halls holding hands and smiling like it's the best day ever. And it's going to be the best day ever, all year long. I have a lot of exciting ideas to help my boyfriend, my best friends, and my school.

But one stupid text shatters my perfect bliss, when everything good turns ugly. Shattered by the betrayal, I lose my cool and commit the unforgettable. Within an hour of my meltdown, I transform from the unnamed best friend to the most talked about girl in school.

It's time for some serious damage control. Lucky for me, my big sister is a high school cheerleader and a master manipulator of all things school related. With her help, I will survive seventh grade.
