We are mandated to take a workman-likeapproach to our marriage commitments for the devil is always, actively working todestroy it. If you know you have deadly enemies, you are always on guard and youtake steps to protect yourselves. If you know you have valuables that armed robbersare always seeking to steal, you deploy security and constantly evaluate theadequacy of your security. In addition, you never go to sleep without checking toensure your security procedures are in place. The commitments in this book areproactive measures to guard your marriage and your precious family from the evildirectly targeting marriages from the spiritual realm of darkness. We are living inthe end times. The coming of the Lord is much closer than we think. With the comingof end-times plagues and persecution, it is very important that families get evencloser together. You will need people you can trust and truly rely on when evil hasfree reign. Your standing will depend on who you lean on. The devil knows this andis ferociously against marriages and will continue to intensify his assault.Maintaining strong marriage and family relationships in these times must be verydeliberate and intentional.
