Glenda Shedd is an innovative and self-motivated retired educator with twenty-nine and half years of experience. She taught kindergarten, middle, and junior high school students and served as a kindergarten through ninth grade principal and mentor to graduate students majoring in Educational Leadership. Glenda was the recipient of many awards including Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, and Courage in Leadership Award. She has experience in implementing curriculum that focuses on teaching literacy and writing in content areas and curriculum that incorporates teaching positive character development in classrooms. She firmly believes that positive character traits and ethical behavior must be taught and modeled so that children regardless of grade levels will demonstrate good character, social skills, and become caring, respectful, and productive citizens. Glenda loves writing and has written church plays, poems, and Vacation Bible School curriculums. She is married, has one son and a granddaughter. Glenda lives in Mississippi.
