Narrative science has clarified in many of its places and interventions many of the elements that must be present in narrative discourse in its broad and comprehensive sense. Narrative text gains its importance through its ability to suggest and interpret. As Roland Barthes says, it exists wherever life exists, but awareness of it was not achieved except with the development of narrative discourse in its broad sense.
