Sharon Arms Doucet is a lifelong lover of folklore who has taken liberties in the recounting and recombining of the traditional tales. She lived in Lafayette, Louisiana, for four decades and taught French for many years before launching her career as a writer. She lives in Allenspark, Colorado.
