Zuléka Smit is a teacher and motivational speaker with a love for life and a passion for young people and writing. Born in Kroonstad but completing her matric at High School Albertina, Zuléka attained her B.Ed Education degree (cum laude) from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology's Wellington Campus. She began her career at Paarl Boys' Primary School where, for the past fifteen years, she has committed her life to preparing children for life and laying strong foundations in their lives. She is also currently a dorm parent at a high school where she continues to practice her passion for education and the upliftment of young people. Zuléka is married to Johan and devoted to her family. They have two beautiful kids, Karli and Heini. Johann Strauss is an expert when it comes to illustrations for children's books. This talented illustrator illustrated all the books in the Ben- and Lea-series.
