The Letters were first published online in serial form by Biro Berita Monyet Putih, otherwise known as White Monkey News Bureau (2009-2013) and are here compiled in book form. Much of the content is inaccurate because of ignorance or because it's out of date. Some of the greatest howlers have been corrected; others left as testimonies to ignorance and laziness; misspellings have sometimes been corrected, othertimes not, depending on the context; formatting was inconsistent at the time and remains more or less so. It was remembrances of times past at the times it was written and is now best read as a fictional narrator describing fictional people at fictional events in fictional places.
