Saint Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians reads like a letter from a concerned parent who wishes to share wisdom-and a warning-with his or her children. Though these arguments are familiar to the Christian journey, we are reminded in these letters that the Holy Spirit is with us and will work through us-and that our deepest call is to love God and one another.

As an educator and author with more than forty five years of experience, Father William A. Anderson has served as pastor, professor, catechist, and spiritual director. He has written extensively on pastoral, spiritual, and religious topics. He presents workshops for parishioners and catechists as well as directing parish missions and retreats for presbyters, religious, and laity. His workshops have included topics such as Sacred Scripture, Christology, Ecclesiology, Catholic Church History, and Sacramental Theology. Father Anderson earned his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Saint Mary' Seminary and University, Baltimore, Maryland, and his Doctorate in Sacred Theology from Duquesne University, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He is a presbyter of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
