I lived through two drownings, a face-to-face bear encounter, and a bike verses dump truck accident before I reach six years of age It continues through my juvenile delinquent years, smuggling switchblades and firecrackers across the Mexican border and setting up a Junior High School black market. At sixteen, again, I almost drowned. It was on my very first scuba dive. I was 110 ft below the surface and ran out of air. And there are countless other adventures, including a summer hitchhiking the West Coast. From there I cover my corporate life before becoming a serial entrepreneur for thirty-four years during which I built and sold numerous businesses. In addition, I've invented and licensed many products. The stories cover a myriad of characters and crooks, including murder. In addition. I was incarceration in juvenile hall, jail, and a mental ward. Not all stories are harrowing or outrageous experiences; many are humorous. All are hard to believe!

Mr. H David Whalen, born in Canada, spent his childhood growing up on Vancouver Island. His family moved to San Diego for his formative years and higher education.
After graduating from college, earning a marketing degree, and subsequent corporate career, Mr. Whalen became a serial entrepreneur and inventor.
He spent thirty-five years self-employed, building eight companies, two national, and selling
three.
During his life journey, David invented many products which he sold or licensed.
After Mr. Whalen sold his last business and retired, he pursues a writing career in the crime thrillers genre.
