This trilogy of books is about Becky Wilson and Dan Jeffries families. Becky is a book editor for a publishing company and Dan is a police officer. Book one, starts with Becky coming home from work to find her twelve-year-old daughter Sandy pinned to the living room rug by a man trying to rape her. She pulls the man off her daughter - then, the man isn't moving. She called 911 and Dan Jeffries investigated the rape attempt. Becky and Dan are both divorced. Becky had been married to Shane. She has two children, a son Ken who works as an electronic engineering technologist with an oil pipeline and her daughter Sandy goes to school. Dan was married to Emily and had a young son, Mike who lived with his mom. Becky has many adventures as a book editor and can work in the office or at home. Dan has many dangerous assignments including dealing with terrorists who threatened to bomb one of Edmonton Alberta's biggest shopping malls. He is shot and his partner sees blood pouring out of both sides of his head. Ken has several dangerous situations to deal with; becomes a ski patroller and learns how to fly a helicopter. Roberta Cava is the author of 30 books. Two of them are international best-sellers. Her Dealing with Difficult People book was published in 1990 (23 publishers in 17 languages). She was born in Canada but now lives on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia.
