In over twenty-two years in public education, Walter Peddy has served as a teacher, coach, campus administrator, district administrator and district superintendent. He has written several articles for leadership journals while completing his doctorate of educational leadership at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He has also presented at state and national conventions on various aspects of school leadership. He is currently the assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction at Huntington ISD. When time permits, he moonlights as a leadership trainer and consultant for district leadership teams in Texas and Louisiana.
