John Neufeld has written at least eighteen novels for both children and adults. His most popular titles are Edgar Allan, Lisa, Bright and Dark (which has sold more than three million copies), Gaps in Stone Walls; April Fool, Trading Up (as "Joan Lea"), Freddy's Book, Family Fortunes, and The Fun of It. He currently lives in Connecticut, and is a syndicated political commentator for his local NPR station. His books have been translated into Dutch, Japanese, Spanish, Finnish among other languages.
