I have written a short story about a man diagnosed with an acute psychosis. His name is Humphrey. This story is based on my youth. It is a brief synopsis about being abused within the institution of the church.

It is about healing the trauma that held my mind captive within Secular Mental Health Recovery.

Furthermore, it is about opening up about the abuse in a safe environment while in hospital and developing healthy relationships that avoided the alternative lifestyle.

I open up about the abuse in hospital while healing the relationship with my mother. My mother handed me into the hands of the paedophiles within the West Indian Community. It led to being treated within the Secular Mental Health Recovery Model since 1974.

In 2025 I am ready to take the next step in my recovery.
