Amanda Kern is an author, teacher, speaker, and passionate student of God's Word. She was raised in a pastor's family in Detroit, Michigan and while in high school began serving in the local church founded by her grandmother, Myrtle "Mom" Beall. She has since authored and taught several Bible study series, been the keynote speaker at women's conferences and events, and been a guest speaker at various churches. Amanda founded Beckoning Ministries in 2023 with the mission of helping people fully know and experience God and encouraging their appetite for more of Him and His Word. The Bible is Amanda's passion and she eagerly communicates her love for God's living Word at every opportunity. Amanda holds a Master of Arts degree with an emphasis in Speech Communication Education. She and her husband Mike have four children and now reside in Katy, Texas.
