Andrew Pucetti should have had a happy childhood. His parents loved each other, and they loved him. But Andrew did not love himself.
Battling extreme OCD and anxiety, Andrew learnt to survive life, day by painful day. At nine years old, he realised that he was the odd one out. No one else experienced life like he did.
With professional help, Andrew regained control over his life. And that gave him the strength to come out to his family. But his OCD wasn't finished with him yet ...
Andrew's brave story addresses one of life's big questions: how do you carry on, knowing that the thing that hurts you most, can keep coming back?

Autorenporträt
Andrew Puccetti is a college student, activist, and mental illness survivor. After being diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses and hitting rock bottom, Andrew managed to change his life for the better. He now lives a happy, fulfilling life and is passionate about sharing his story so that others know what it feels like to live in the shoes of someone who suffers with mental illness. He hopes to bring more understanding to others, help people know they are not alone in their struggles, and break the stigma around such issues. Andrew lives in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois with his family and two dogs. Outside of writing, he enjoys eating delicious vegetarian food, spending time with the people he loves, and seeing as many musical theater productions as he possibly can. You can find out more about Andrew on his website at www.andrewpuccettiauthor.com.
