Freya Jüptner ist eine deutsche Autorin, Pädagogin und ehemalige Skipperin. Ihre Fantasy-Romane verbinden Mythologie, Geschichte, queere Identität und ethische Dilemmata. Mit ihrem Hintergrund in der Notfallmedizin, der Ermittlungsarbeit und der maritimen Ausbildung bringt sie Realismus, Tiefe und eine europäische Perspektive in ihre Geschichten ein. Ihre Figuren suchen kein Happy End - sie suchen die Wahrheit. Freya schreibt gegen das Vergessen, gegen Ungerechtigkeit und für Mut, Verantwortung und emotionale Klarheit.
