As, now Magister Breigh walks through the transport station, she thinks about the effects of the travel and all the lost friendships and lovers. The worst part of these journeys were the dreams, long endless dreams that plagued her even after she awoke. Once Breigh had boarded and securely placed in the cryo-bed she was fast asleep speeding off to a remote part of the galaxy to a waiting family.

It was during one of Breigh's disturbing dreams that she was wakened. Scrutinizing the cryogenic metrics, she learns her trip had gone 900 hundred years beyond the estimated 50 years. Using an emergency escape system, she jumps through a time gate and arrives on a post-apocalyptic world without her magical powers and is chased by an eight-foot-tall robot with giant metal claws.
