Autorenporträt
Praseetha Unnikrishnan, an avid researcher, did her doctoral studies from the Department of Social Work, University of Delhi, Delhi in the year 2009. Her keen and persistent interest in the field of children with special educational needs led her to the present work which also happens to be her doctoral work. She has several publications, both in national and international Journals, in the area of disability studies. She has also co-authored a book on adolescents called 'Turbulent Teens'. Presently she is serving as an Assistant Director with the Distance Education Council, IGNOU, New Delhi.
