Mare Nostrum. Our everyday sea. That's what the Romans called it, without knowing exactly how far that sea stretched, which in principle was only the Mediterranean. That sea that begins with the beauty of a beach and never ends, because the sea is infinite. A setting of endless horizons, stormy reactions, and limitless routes. Produktbeschreibung
The theater of romances, battles, abundant and fertile life. From its surface, another world begins, that of the depths with its mysteries. It gravitates tirelessly with its heartbeat of waves, tides, and currents. An eternal challenge to the dreams of sailors and adventurers. An inexhaustible source of food for humanity.

Here I present some stories that have the sea as their virtual setting, the Mare Nostrum, yours, mine, everyone's.

Autorenporträt
During my early youth, I wanted to be a writer. Instead, I became an amateur photographer and later a professional as a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker. To make a living started writing scripts for printed soap operas. That was not my idea of being a writer so my passions for traveling lead me to write for travel magazines like México Desconocido, Automundo, Vogue, among others. Later I got into writing short stories. In the 90¿s a collection of short stories named Un Poeta al Paredón was published in New York. Several of those stories were published in Mexican magazines.

After 21 years of living in NY and traveling around the world, I decided to come back to my country and make San Miguel de Allende, Mexico my new home. Not to retire but to move on with a new life, new ideas and perspectives. Coming to San Miguel, made possible all of that. Now I have published two books about local visual artists. One book portraying all the colorful San Miguel in photography. Four novels are written in Spanish. The last one is translated into English as Odyssey. Besides a collection of short stories entitled Historias de Rompe y Rasga. I¿m working with translators to have all my novels translated.
