Autorenporträt
Gabriela Stoll wurde 1998 in der Schweiz geboren und wuchs in einer ländlichen Gegend im Kanton Bern auf. Fernab vom Trubel der Stadt konnte sie als Kind mit ihren beiden Geschwistern durch Wald und Feld toben und ihrer Fantasie freien Lauf lassen. Ihre Mutter und ihre Großmutter sind beide sehr kreativ und haben schon früh mit den Kindern Geschichten erfunden, gezeichnet und gebastelt. Die Freude an selbst erfundenen Geschichten hat sich Gabriela bis heute bewahrt. In ihrem ersten Kinderbuch "Die Weihnachtsmaus Maria und die große Verteilaktion" ist ihre Begeisterung für die Weihnachtszeit zu spüren. Wie sie allerdings auf die Idee mit der Maus kam, ist nicht bekannt - vielleicht eine letzte Erinnerung an ihr erstes Plüschtier? Neben dem Schreiben arbeitet Gabriela für eine öffentliche Verwaltung und ist in ihrer Freizeit gerne mit ihrer Hündin in der Natur unterwegs.
