Dr. Roland Amoussou AKA "Dr. Salsa", is renowned for his many passions and for wearing many hats, literally and figuratively. His dedication to "Bridging cultures" under AsiAfrica Foundation, earned him an international award and a strong recognition by African Embassies in Asia.

Roland is a Benin (West Africa) / French national based in Thailand since 2002 and a pioneer and inspiring leader in many ways.

As a renowned expert, Roland defines himself as a "storyteller" with Afro-Latin music and dances. He has managed to combine his professional activities as an international Lawyer and University lecturer around Asia with teaching and promoting Afro-Latin, African and Cuban music, dances, and culture to bridge cultures between Asia and Africa for fundraising.

He founded "Salsa Concept" as a school and philosophy in 2002 and served as DJ and speaker on Salsa history around the world.

Roland is recognized as a "Who's Who" of the International Dance Council (CID-UNESCO) for his contribution to the "Salsa Concept" and his education efforts through Afro-Latin dance Concepts.

He created AsiAfrica Dance Academy to share his dance passion and teaches "Afro Fitness and dance in various gyms in Bangkok.

Dr. Roland Amoussou is also a Co-founder of AsiAfrica Foundation, a Charity registered under Thai law to promote friendship and bridge cultural gaps in Asia.

From Africa to France, Italy, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, etc., Roland has dedicated two decades in Asia to bridging cultures.
