Autorenporträt
Peter Ship was born in Queensland Australia in 1951. During his varied career in retailing and aged care administration he has been able to combine his enjoyment of writing with his employment. For the last twelve years he has been involved in the funeral industry, first as a coffin trimmer then as a funeral arranger and conductor. In 2008 Peter and his wife moved to Brisbane when he accepted a position to manage one of the city's finest cemeteries and crematoria. Peter has written several books including a collection of short humorous stories based on his experiences in the funeral industry as well as a book of inspirational short stories for the elderly and several plays for Christmas and Easter. Peter married his wife Fay in 1972 they have two children and two grand children.
