Jeannine has always had a passion for children and children's books. She is a mother of four and a grandmother to thirteen. Jeannine's family and her rescue cat named Memphis are the inspiration for the characters in the book. Memphis and a golden squirrel were actual friends in the families back yard which inspired the concept of the duo and their adventures.
