Dr. Manoj Kumar Ray is a Fire & Safety professional turned Human Resource leader with a career spanning more than three decades at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. A graduate of the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, he began his journey in 1993 and is now Deputy General Manager (Employee Management Services) at Mathura Refinery. His courageous role in controlling a massive tank fire at Digboi Refinery led to his nomination for the President's Award in 2003.Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Dr. Ray holds multiple qualifications, including B.E. (Fire), M. Tech. (HSE), MBA, NEBOSH, and a Ph.D. in Behaviour Based Safety. He is also a certified trainer from ISTD with expertise in Learning & Development and has contributed significantly to OISD Standards. An aspiring author, he enjoys reading, writing, and engaging with people. His ultimate purpose is to enhance workplace performance through Behaviour Based Safety.
