After Kael mysteriously vanished, a demon horde attacked, killing their mother Lyssa and separating the brothers. Azrael, believing Kain dead, and was raised by Captain Roland at the haunted Dreadhold Keep. Azrael, became a skilled sell sword, wielding enchanted hand crossbows Dusk and Dawn forged by Mira Blackforge. At eighteen, Azrael, took up monster hunting officially alongside Captain Roland under the Ashcroft Occult Research and Investigations agency. Through years of trials, betrayals, and bloody battles across mortal and infernal realms, Azrael forged uneasy alliances with demon hunters Dragomir Nicolae Nightshade and others. He confronted ancient evils, mystical artifacts, and learned deep family secrets, including Kael's illegitimate son Draven Ashcroft, who emerged as a young knight with his own legacy. Azrael Ashcroft and Captain Roland Ashcroft embark on a perilous quest to retrieve the legendary frost-covered Morningstar from the temple known as the Eye of Odin. Guided by the imposing giant Edward Skarnholt, they must overcome goblins, undead guardians, and a ferocious red dragon to claim this rare magical artifact, testing their courage, skill, and resolve. In the climax, with the emergence of the demonic Blood thorn gateway opening to his grandfather's infernal realm, the demon Lord Zepharion, the Crimson Judge threatening Whitehaven, Azrael, Captain Roland Ashcroft, and Draven faced their intertwined destinies battling not only demons but each other. The story explores themes of family, redemption, betrayal, and the struggle to protect the innocent in a dark, demon-infested world.

Jonathan has been happily married to his wife Mimi for five years, and together they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters: Snow, age 13, and Biannca, age 3.
