Step into a world where the forest murmurs, the sky conspires, and every creature-large or small-has a story of defiance to tell. Step into a world where the forest murmurs, the sky conspires, and every creature-large or small-has a story of defiance to tell. In this wild, postmodern fable, trees whisper secrets of rebellion, squirrels plot subversive heists, owls ignite nocturnal revolts, and phoenixes rise from the ashes to join the chorus. Across thirty-five poems in Forest Floor Uprisings, twenty-five in Wild Resistance & Forest Solidarity, twenty-five in Skies of Defiance and Wings of Unity, and twenty-five in Echoes in the Earth: Rooted Memory and Ancestral Flame, the collection traces a sweeping narrative of revolt, solidarity, and the deep-time memory of the natural world.

Each poem bursts with its own style-epic whispers, comedic suspense, surreal allegory, political allegory, nocturnal ballads, and mythic odes-creating a kaleidoscopic tapestry of the forest's uprising. From the mischievous sabotage of squirrels to the cosmic flight of birds across skies unbound, from subterranean mycelium networks recording ancestral wisdom to the elemental roar of rivers reclaiming their path, this collection elevates both the small and the mighty, the unseen and the monumental.

Moo-tiny! is more than poetry-it is a manifesto of resistance, an elegy for the overlooked, a hymn for the wild, and a call for solidarity across species, landscapes, and elements. Here, every claw, wing, hoof, root, and leaf is both narrator and revolutionary, each act of rebellion layered with humor, magic, and lyrical fury.

In the epic conclusion, The Roar of All Worlds, the full chorus of earth, forest, and sky converges, delivering a final, sprawling ode to collective memory, survival, and the unstoppable pulse of life.

Dive into a universe where the natural world is alive, insurrectionary, and endlessly inventive. Moo-tiny! And Other Beastly Rebellions will make you hear the whisper of roots, the flash of fireflies, the murmur of rivers, and the roar of creatures long forgotten-all reminding us that revolt can be beautiful, dangerous, and deeply necessary.

Autorenporträt
Ismael S. Rodriguez Jr. is a poet and writer whose work dwells in the space where stillness meets pressure. Shaped by lived experience, movement, and sustained attention to power and survival, his writing blends lyrical witness, surrealism, and contemplative resistance. A U.S. Navy veteran who served during Operation Desert Storm aboard a ship deployed in the Mediterranean, he carries an enduring fascination with authority, machinery, discipline, and moral ambiguityoften approached sideways, with humor and grace.

His work has appeared in Halfway Down the Stairs, The Beatnik Cowboy, Chiron Review, Nebo, Home Planet, Lost Lake Folk Opera, Pensive: A Global Journal of Spirituality & the Arts, Muse Literary Journal, and elsewhere. He is the author of multiple poetry and fiction collections and is currently working toward traditional publication while continuing to explore what survives after spectacle fades.

Rodriguez lives in Florida, where he writes quietly, listens closely, and believes that attention itself can be a radical act.
