A presentation is much more than a series of slides; it's a performance on stage. For more than two decades, the author has observed himself and other academics presenting their research results. Autorenporträt
Federico Gobbo is a full professor at the University of Amsterdam, specialising in Interlinguistics and Esperanto, and holds a PhD in Computer Science. He gave many presentations in academia during his career on topics such as the philosophy of AI, whistled languages, and the art of language construction between naturalness and artificiality. This experience led him to present to diverse academic audiences, from software engineers to historians of esotericism. Regardless of the discipline, presenting in academia has its own hidden rules, which this book reveals.
