Autorenporträt
Christine was raised and educated in the St Helens area of Merseyside and has since lived in Abergavenny and Cumbria, finally settling in Formby, where she has lived for well over 30 years, bringing up her two daughters and enjoying a long and happy career with the NHS. She has been a professional writer now for over 17 years, writing inspirational verse for major greeting card company 'Write from the Heart' of Grassroots International.

During this time, Christine has published two books of poetry; this is her first attempt at a children's book. Having been a storyteller since her youth, Christine admits to always having had a childlike imagination and to never having quite grown up, she also goes on to say that "living in a small cottage in the English countryside with a garden brimming with character, it's so easy to let your imagination run wild".

She would like to welcome you all to the magical world of Mrs Paws.
