Mud and Honey follows Nate, a grieving farm owner weathered by loss, as his crumbling northern Wisconsin farm is upended by Laurie, a preacher's kid with messy ideas and a wild heart. Chaos becomes community, creating a menagerie of hope that uplifts everyone it touches. As Laurie's hustle turns mud to profit and Nate's straight lines bend to her curves, their partnership deepens into something more and promises a future neither expected. Autorenporträt
Scott McMillan grew up in Wisconsin, balancing a love for the arts with a budding curiosity for engineering. A decade in the Air Force tipped the scales toward tech, leading him to work on high-stakes projects at secretive locales straight out of spy novels. Gifted at weaving truth into tales more fascinating than memory, he became a storyteller, blending traits from people met across 36 countries and nearly every U.S. state into vivid characters and settings. After three decades in snowy Colorado, this dog lover now calls Florida home, savoring sunshine he doesn't have to shovel.
