Luther Whitley, acclaimed poet and author is also an astute student of the Scriptures. This can be seen from his proverbs and many spiritural poems. His books include: The Truth About Capital Punishment and Thou Shall Not Kill, Christmas-The Lie That Everybody Loves, Proverbial Sayings of an Ordinary Man, The Plight of the Honeybee and The Spectacular Rise and Foretold Fall of Christianity. An Associate member of the Academy of American Poets, Mr. Whitley resides in Suitland, Maryland, a Washington, D.C. suburb.
