My name is Steven Kamenski. I am a dedicated Roman Catholic who resides in Texas. I was born and raised in Bridgeton, New Jersey. I grew up in the Catholic Church and I was baptized and received my first communion and confirmation all at the same church in my hometown. My mother would take me to Saturday evening mass every week. I have been a faithful prayer warrior my whole entire lifetime.
Background information: I loved sports growing up. I did endure your usually bullying when I had to change schools from the intercity to the countryside. I wasn't accepted very well starting at the new school. After high school, Graduation I wasn't making the best decisions in my young adult life. That prompted me into joining the US Army. During my military service, my unit was one of the first units to deploy to Iraq after 911.
During my service in the Army, I was a weekend warrior as they call it in my drinking career. That accelerated into a fulltime alcoholic after my service ended with the military. I worked several government jobs over the years until early medical retirement in 2015. My retirement wasn't really the biggest blessing due to having a lot more time on my hands to drink more frequently. I was always there for my children no matter what weather I was drinking or sober. I love all my children very much. The only thing alcohol did do was put a strain on my relationships romantically.
Present date. Over the last few years, I became a lot more involved with my religion. I set out to make an unofficial Guinness World Book of Records for visiting the most churches in the shortest period of time. I visited 82 churches in 22 days. I only did this to raise awareness for people to get more involved in their own spiritual lives. I am a Lector and EM for my Catholic Church and others throughout my community. I have been sober from alcohol for the last time for over two years now. I have witnessed many mini miracles as I call them during this time. I lost a very good friend and his wake happens to be my sobriety date. I often tell others that he needed to die for me to live. My earthly journey has touched many souls across the world. I am a social media influencer and I use my platform to spread the word of the
Lord. I am a prayer warrior and I believe my prayers have healed others. I continue to pray and give alms and pass out little Jesus figurines and bracelets that I have blessed an now Bibles across the community and world when I travel.
I wanted to keep this Bio short. I don't want to make this book of prayers about me. I often tell people; "I would be here for 10 years explaining all the little mini miracles I have witnessed and been a part of the last two years of my life."
I always wanted to publish a book since my mother did. My mother's untimely passing was in 2013. She wrote a book of poems. I never really knew what the book was going to be about. I had a lot of ideas. One day the Lord spoke to me. My mother's publishing company called me and wanted me to re promote her book. At that moment in time, the Lord spoke to me. It all came together. I needed to write a book about modern day prayers for our generation. I feel as if the world needs more direction from the Lord nowadays. I definitely walk by faith and not by sight. With that being said, I see where others may have lost hope in their own faith. The world hasn't had a documented Holy Miracle in over 100 years. We can all do more in our own walks with the Lord and share our personal experiences with others to enhance their walks with the Lord.
