Autorenporträt

Art Zimmerman was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, and grew up a few miles away in the rural town of Aston as the oldest of seven children. He graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Penn State University before beginning a lifelong advertising agency career that started as a trainee in the Pittsburgh office of a major ad agency. After being promoted to General Manager, he was transferred to the agency's New York City office. Art later moved to Isle of Palms, South Carolina, and started his own ad agency. He currently resides in the nearby town of Mount Pleasant. An avid runner for the past 25 years, Art has finished forty marathons, which are featured in his book Run For Your Life published in 2020. His crime novel The Letter was published in 2024. Art is currently working on the latest novel in his Matt Walker mystery series. Art's books are available on all online platforms.
