Produktbeschreibung
During a season of great despair, a vision of Jesus and her grandmother began the unforgettable journey into finding her call and purpose in life. A call she would have never imagined for herself. Bonnie offers a candid and soul-stirring account of her spiritual transformation-from personal despair to divine purpose. Through vivid storytelling and emotional transparency, Oliver invites readers into her deeply personal journey of faith, healing, and obedience to what she calls the "tug" of the Holy Spirit. The core of the book focuses on her time volunteering at a city jail, where she unexpectedly discovers her calling.

Working with inmates-most imprisoned for violent crimes-she becomes a source of compassion, education, and hope, forming unlikely bonds that radically

reshape her life. These chapters are the most gripping, capturing raw encounters with both grace and injustice in a deeply flawed system. Her relationship with one inmate becomes a catalyst for not only his life but hers. Oliver's sincerity is the book's strongest asset. She doesn't preach; she witnesses. Her voice is humble and authentic, shaped by trauma, survival, and trust in divine intervention. Miracles, visions, and prayer-filled breakthroughs are recounted not for show, but as evidence of God's hand in a broken world. Readers who have experienced emotional or spiritual hardship will likely find comfort in her words.

My God Stories: Discovering my Call is not meant to impress-it's meant to testify. It's a spiritually raw, but ultimately an uplifting account of what happens when a broken woman says "yes" to God.

Autorenporträt
Diverse would best describe Bonnie. Her story challenges many, but especially the men living out their sentences in prison, whether on death row or spending life in prison. All...she treats with respect, and they returned that respect. She meets a man who is truly innocent, not believing the injustice she witnessed, she takes up the gauntlet to fight his case. She could not do anything about the injustices in her own life, but she believed making a difference in another's life, would make her life worth living. She takes the knowledge she gained from extensive study up to the governor's office...building a rapport that also gains respect. Justice...that is all she wants-justice!
