Shanez R. is a busy bee who can't cook to save her life. Thank God for Daddy and her hubby, who cook, or else she and her two kids would starve. She lives in New York, the greatest city in the world, with said hubby and kids and a goldfish that throws serious tantrums when she doesn't get attention, just like the self-proclaimed writer of the household. She barely manages to juggle work and family but likes to think she handles it like a pro. However, she still manages to get in wine time with her group of ladies (she says wine, but really it's any alcoholic beverage). She hopes to grow up to be an amazing author someday, hopefully before she is eighty. She loves reading, but writing has taken center stage in her life lately. As much as the anticipation of getting her thoughts down gives her toe-curling pleasures, she insists that nothing beats curling up on the couch with a cup of tea for family movie time. My Rib is her debut novel.
