Autorenporträt

Derryl Murphy has been nominated for Canada's Aurora Award three times, for his novel Napier's Bones, his story "Lost Jenny," and a non-fiction nomination for a review column he wrote back in the day. He was also shortlisted for the Sunburst Prize for his story collection Over the Darkened Landscape. He is also the author of another collection, Wasps at the Speed of Sound, and a novella with William Shunn, Cast a Cold Eye.

Derryl and his wife live in a small northern city and are - usually - empty nesters. Aside from their dog, Zevon.
