This story continues from the previous installment. The first half recounts how Yang Jian and his companions journeyed into the underworld to seek the Gate of Reincarnation in order to return to the Heavenly Realm. The second half follows their return to the depths of hell, where they face a dire crisis: the once-loyal celestial hound, Howling Celestial Dog, has devoured the monstrous Jiuying and begun to break the seal of the primordial beast Hou. As it transforms into an unparalleled demonic entity, the balance of all six realms hangs by a thread. Should the transformation be completed, all sentient beings will be plunged into catastrophe.
