Ederfill trembles. A kingdom long plagued by unrest now faces its greatest challenge as mounting disturbances culminate in open rebellion, shaking its foundations to the core.

Prion Adelus, now beloved by his people, finds his newfound popularity challenged by a harsh truth: maintaining his crown demands the continued subjugation of the An'Dunnians. This ignites a devastating conflict with their determined leaders, figures from his own past who plan to champion their freedom at all costs.

For Nerlan, the battle lines are drawn directly through his heart. Torn between his brother's reign and Kiuren's fight for justice, the weight of their opposing causes threatens to sunder his deepest bonds. And with the rising tide of this conflict, Nerlan fears the fragile peace of his dwarven home, Driukin, may shatter once more, drawing his weakened tribe into a war they cannot possibly win.

The Western Stones of Dutdaret and Mindatril surge within them even stronger now, granting control over earth and flora. Yet their divine nature encroaches, demanding a terrifying price. The Stones are not just tools; they are destinies, eclipsing the twins' mortality and pushing them to their breaking points, all without them knowing.

As a shadowy evil gathers its forces once more, promising to undo everything they've fought for, Nerlan and Adelus must face not only the burgeoning war threatening to engulf their world but the devastating personal cost of leadership and loyalty. Can they survive the profound losses this conflict demands, and reclaim their identities from the very power meant to save them?

Autorenporträt
Klara Roman's writing journey began after discovering the Geronimo Stilton series, inspiring her to create parodies of the books due to their easy-to-read, adventure-packed premises. She wrote the first of the Heroes of Biginol books by hand in 2011, and its three subsequent novels followed, with the last of the first drafts completed in 2014.

Years later, Klara decided to pick the series back up and turn it into actual books she can share with the world. Originally the third work, "Nerlan and Adelus: Guardians of the Western Stones," was later split into two books under one volume and became the project she chose for her debut as a proper author.

Apart from writing, she is also a digital artist and a professional game designer who just thinks dwarves are pure class. "For me, they represent brotherhood and the enjoyment of the simple pleasures in life," she was quoted saying. Klara is smart when she wants to be, but finds that it expends too much energy, especially in this economy, and so she conserves it most of the time.
