This is my autobiography, A true story of a Welsh woman born in the 1960's in the mining valleys of the Rhondda Valleys in Wales. A child growing up through the mining and political tragedies and troubles of the 60's, 70's and 80's. A child dismissed by many as troublesome and one that will never achieve anything. A child that became a woman and a proud Welsh woman at that.

A woman who became an Adventurer, Educator and Emancipator for Children Around the World.

A woman whose solo travels took her to remote corners of the earth, deep into the Amazon Jungle, Volcano Alleys of the Andes, Africa Canada, Japan, Asia and Oceania, Europe, India and Sri Lanka, recording the hopes dreams and concerns of many of their people, adults and children through film, photography, poetry and art.

A woman who was faced with many obstacles, environmental, economical, geographical, political and personal as she had to manoeuvre her way through storms, blizzards, landslides, political coos, civil wars and lockdowns and the more personal challenges of surviving, poisonous spider bites, broken bones, malaria, sepsis and the Big C (Cancer).

As each obstacle and challenge came along, the wild ginger hair and welsh blood coursing through my veins gave me the determination to persevere and never give up, to face each challenge with patience and perseverance, to find solutions to each problem and to always find another way.

This audio book gives an insight into some of my travels and the challenges I faced travelling the globe solo.

It is a collection of true stories from around the world including galloping across the Mongolian plains in memory of my father, Grade 5 White water rafting and the visions of headless warriors in Uganda. From pink dolphins, vine snakes and blue bellied frogs in the Amazon Jungle to spiders, snakes, opal and gold mines in outback Australia.

Enjoy my adventures and see how I overcame challenges to explore our world on foot, by train, plane, camel, kayaks and canoe.
