In a world that rushes forward without looking back, No One Waits Us captures the silent weight of being left behind.
Set in nameless cities and anonymous rooms, these short stories speak of people who live on the edge of memory - forgotten by lovers, misunderstood by family, ignored by society. Produktbeschreibung
In a world that rushes forward without looking back, No One Waits Us captures the silent weight of being left behind.

Set in nameless cities and anonymous rooms, these short stories speak of people who live on the edge of memory - forgotten by lovers, misunderstood by family, ignored by society. Each character struggles with absence, waiting for someone who will never return, or trying to forget those who never truly arrived.

This is not a book about grand tragedies. It's about the quiet ones: the missed phone calls, the empty chairs, the photos no longer framed.

Told in sparse, poetic language, No One Waits Us is a moving meditation on urban solitude, broken intimacy, and the aching beauty of being human.

Because sometimes, the greatest pain is simply being forgotten.

Autorenporträt
Zarak Krumfort writes about silence the kind that hides behind closed doors, in forgotten alleys, and inside people no one listens to. Born in Salvador, Brazil, and currently living in the United Kingdom, he explores themes of invisibility, memory, and emotional survival through poetic realism and urban decay.

His published works include Mesmo Quando Ninguém Vê, a collection of poems in Portuguese, Bitter Taste, a literary exploration of trauma and loss, and Tales From Nowhere, a series of raw, intimate portraits from a city no one remembers.
