Northway's thugs breathe down the couple's neck to recapture the biography, including harassing Lucas' sister Claire and her two sons. Lucas and Dena traipse through dense timber and endure derecho like weather to avoid the thugs. While picking ticks off each other, they share intimate conversations and discuss a secret from their past. After several days, their friends and family run interference with the thugs, but can Lucas and Dena overcome 10 years of separation, a life changing issue and try their hand at love again?
