Noah And Her Persian Cat is a witty little book that teaches young adults about the political injustices in the world and uses fruit protagonist to do it. You've never read something quite like this. It starts off as being incredibly relatable_ Noah is feeling depressed from quarantine blues that many of us have faced or watched our kids face when presented with a disrupted school schedule and months on end of not being able to see their friends. Then, when she falls asleep in her garden, she's faced with a whole new world_ a fruity one. Oh ,and Artunis, the red cat that's been her trusty companion throughout this whole thing, can talk in her dreams. And she certainly has a lot to say. The fruit characters are well thought out and incredibly quirky. And they have their own goals too_it's not just solving Artunis' goals or Noah's, but the fruits learn a valuable lesson of acceptance and getting along despite each others personality flaws or interests. this is a fun book that is relatable on so many levels, and while it might not be everyone's glass of lemonade, I think it's worth checking out.
