Win Straube holds degrees in linguistics, economics, and law. He grew up in Germany, and as a teenager survived the bombing of Dresden near the end of World War II. He later came to the United States becoming an interpreter for the State Department. He owned his own engineering products company, became a pilot, a patent law specialist, and later a renowned teacher of tai chi. Also, in his seventies, a gold medal swimmer in the Senior Olympics. Win Straube's work these days is to head his own foundation that develops and promotes distance-learning programs. He is also the author of Nobody Knew and QGE=A.
