Readers who fell in love with David Nodding and his cast of companions in Nodding's People will be delighted to find the novella that leads this collection of short fiction from James O. Weeks. There are old friends and new challenges, odd quests and life changes, and the chance of gunplay, leading toward the best sort of Christmas gift.
Also in the book are two long stories by Nipper, one of Nodding's people; and two very different stories about Christmas in Nova Scotia.
