Produktbeschreibung
An amateur sleuth stumbles upon a possible murder using COVID-19! Welcome to Sonoma, California - home to wine, the last Alta California mission and the California Republic "Bear Flag" - and grocery store clerk Kevin Dahlmeyer and his overbearing father. Riding the city bus home on Saint Patrick's Day 2020, essential worker Kevin encounters his neighbor, the beautiful and opinionated Martha Pappas, who went to work with a "cold." When she accidentally sneezes on Kevin, it gives him the terrible but inescapable idea of using COVID-19 to commit murder. Will Kevin survive this experiment and pull off the perfect crime, or will he succumb to the disease himself? If he survives, can he get away with murder, with Martha asking questions and getting friendlier by the day? This book really captures what it feels like to be alive in 2020. It has toilet paper hording, doctors sleeping away from their loved ones, social distancing, mask wearing and Zoom all over: cocktail parties, funerals and graduations. This is the book you'll share with your grandkids when they don't believe your stories about what it was like to shelter in place for months. 25% of all author proceeds generated by this novel go the organization Feeding America and 25% go to the World Health Organization.
