JOE CORICA published his first freelance article at fifteen. After spending two semesters at Trinity International University (and attempting to join the football team as a walk-on prospect), Joe turned down a partial football scholarship, as well as recruitment from the Greenville College football program, for recruitment of a different sort: the United States Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge, he resumed writing and returned home to St. Louis, where he resides with his wife and daughter.
