Autorenporträt
William A. Brantley is Professor and Director of the Graduate Program in Dental Materials, College of Dentistry, The Ohio State University, and is currently Interim Chair of the Division of Restorative Science and Prosthodontics. He also has a courtesy appointment as Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Before joining Ohio State in 1989, he was a faculty member at the Marquette University School of Dentistry from 1974 - 1989, where he became Professor and Chair of the Department of Dental Materials, Director of the Graduate Program in Dental Materials, and Director of Dental Graduate Studies. Professor Brantley currently has 183 publications in refereed journals and 17 publications in refereed conference proceedings. He has been co-editor of two books (both with Professor Eliades), and is author/co-author for 30 book chapters. Professor Brantley has served as mentor for 7 Visiting Scholars at Ohio State, advisor/co-advisor for 9 PhD students and 68 MS students, a

nd member of a large number of additional MS and PhD thesis committees. He has presented lectures in a course on orthodontic materials to residents/graduate students in Orthodontics for four decades.
