Per Lars Tonstad is a Norwegian journalist and author. He has published 14 books in Norway. For many years, he was a correspondent for the Norwegian newspaper, Dagbladet, covering national and international politics. He was a correspondent for the newspaper in Moscow. Since 2003, he has been a freelancer, based in Stavanger, the Norwegian oil capitol. Currently, he lives in Portugal.
