Why is life so full of suffering? How can we escape the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, death, and disappointment? These great questions are clearly answered in Paticcasamuppada, the profound and heartfelt principle of the Buddha's enlightenment, which systematically explains the mechanism of the arising and passing away of suffering and all the elements of the world.

This book, "Paticcasamuppada: A Journey of Wisdom to Escape Suffering," will take readers on a detailed, profound exploration of the principles of Paticcasamuppada in all aspects, yet in understandable language.

Begin by understanding the chain of dependent origination, which outlines the 12 interconnected factors that lead to the arising of suffering. This chain extends from the root of ignorance (avijjha), to fabrications (sankhara), perception (viñña), the coming together of beings (nama-rupa), perception through the senses (salayatana), contact (phassa), feeling (vedana), craving (taṇha), clinging (upadana), the creation of existence (bhava), birth (jati), and ultimately, aging, death, and all the heaps of suffering (aging, death). You will gain an overview of the mechanism of samsara, which drives life to cycle through rebirths and deaths, both across realms and in single moments of consciousness.

The book then presents the chain of dependent origination, the path to the cessation of suffering. It demonstrates that when the causes and conditions that cause suffering are extinguished, the result of suffering is also extinguished in sequence, beginning with the extinguishing of ignorance through the arising of knowledge (insight), which leads to the extinguishing of conditioned phenomena... to the extinguishing of birth and all the masses of suffering, leading to the blissful state of nirvana. It also explains the Noble Eightfold Path, the practice that is the path to the cessation of suffering.
